WELCOME EVERYONE;

 I am a Practitioner and an Advanced Instructor of Ortho-Bionomy ®, a Licensed Massage Therapist, Bowen Practitioner and Nationally Certified Instructor for the NCBTMB.   I have been involved with the Somatic Body Work Movement since 1972.  I have been in private practice in San Antonio, TX for the past 15 years.

My  practice includes working with children, various disabilities, people with cancer, drug addiction, post surgical rehabilitation, stroke and trauma.  I also work with horses and dogs.   Be sure and visit the Equine Body Balance page, there is more there on horses. Ortho-Bionomy is very effective for working with people of all ages. I have also developed a few separate techniques to use with people in pain due to life stress and injury.

I enjoy traveling, I teach, I play, and I am always continuing to work on my own education. When time allows I enjoy building furniture, bicycling, playing cards with friends,reading a good book, sharing with Wende and walking my dogs (see photo page).

My work with Ortho-Bionomy came out of another project I was involved with, several friends and I filed for and received a 501- C3 in 1987.  The idea behind this project was to create a place where free information, food, clothing, shelter, alternative health care as well as allopatic medical and dental care would be offered.  The result was the Wellness Clinic of San Antonio.  This program was designed specifically to address those of our community diagnosed with HIV.  As a part of that program I was introduced to massage therapy and consequently to Ortho-Bionomy.

I began my studies to become a Practitioner, then I continued Senior Practitioner and now to Advanced Instructor.  During these past 15 years, I have maintained a private practice and have traveled thousands of miles to teach the work.  I used Ortho-Bionomy extensively with my work at the Wellness Clinic and as an outgrowth of this work was hired to work with a another clinic that worked with Drug Rehab.

During this time I was also working to introduce Ortho-Bionomy to the medical community in San Antonio and enhancing my private practice.  I have taken the time to work with various aspects of my community in continuing education by going and speaking about Ortho-Bionomy to nursing schools, cancer treatment clinics and other groups that could benefit from knowing about Ortho-Bionomy as well as the work we performed at the clinic.

I have served on several boards here in San Antonioas well as serving on various charitable committees.   I have also served as a board member with the Society of Ortho-Bionomy.

At the present time I work in my San Antonio based office and I continue to travel to teach.

I have been involved with Ortho-Bionomy since 1
